Easy Grape Juice
This recipe complements the “Grape Juice” blog” which was posted 8/19/13.  You can find it in the August 2013 archives.

For each quart of juice you will need:

  • 1 ½  cups clean, stemmed grapes

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 qt boiling water

Process:
  1. Sterilize quart jars.  Place the grapes in the jars
  2. To make sugar syrup: mix together the water and sugar, until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Fill each jar with the sugar syrup.
  4. Wipe the jar rims with a clean, damp cloth, and apply sterilized lids and rings.
  5. Process for 20 minutes in a boiling water bath or steam canner.
  6. Once the lids have sealed, let the jars stand on your shelves in a dark pantry for at least 2 months before using.
