The primary purpose of this site is the devotional blog. Devotionals will be published Monday through Friday.
About the Site
After a few years of publishing my devotionals by email, I have decided to create a blog format. Comments are welcome.
New devotionals will appear Monday-Wednesday-Friday with Tuesday and Thursday reserved for reprints, except where entries are date-sensitive or I am in the middle of a short series. If you are a new reader, the reprints will introduce you to the people, places, and situations mentioned in the new blog posts. Once or twice a month I will feature a guest writer.
We have a page on facebook called "Flight Paths" which will offer tips for using the blog and links to some of the articles. You can also make comments there or ask questions. We hope you will "like" us!
Occasionally I must miss due to health reasons. I will try to keep you informed. An RSS feed is offered on the main page right sidebar to automatically notify you of new posts. Just click on the button and follow the instructions on the subscription page.
Enjoy!
About the Author
Dene Ward has taught the Bible for more than 40 years, spoken at women’s retreats and lectureships, and has written the women's classbooks Born of a Woman: Woman’s Place in the Scheme of Redemption and Whoso Findeth a Wife. Her devotional books include Flight Paths, Soul Food, Down A Country Lane, Two Little Boys, and In the Garden with God. She lives in Lake Butler, Florida with husband Keith.
When encroaching blindness took her music teaching career away, Dene Ward turned her attention to writing. What began as e-mail devotionals to some friends grew into a list of hundreds of subscribers. These tend to chronicle her day to day experiences. Follow her through camping trips, bird-watching, medical procedures, piano lessons, memories, and more as she uses daily life as a springboard to thought-provoking and character-challenging messages of endurance and faith.
